Katya Rusin established Lavka Flowers with the singular goal of revisioning the sentiment and enjoyment of what was once a humble act; the giving and accepting of flowers. As the lead designer, Katya is inspired most by art and it's a visual quality that connects people. She translates this visual quality through the use of color to transform individual flowers into a collective whole. Katya achieves her designs by utilizing the elements of design with an appreciation for texture. This key design element of texture offers an added layer of lushness providing splendid contrast's in each arrangement created. The delicate artistry of each arrangement is held together by the unwavering principle to uphold the thoughtfulness of every flower. By implementing Katya's design philosophy, Lavka Flowers maintains the priority to showcase a flower's natural beauty as the focal point in every design.
